LINER NOTES
The debut album by BRINICLE, a five-piece formed in Bogotá, Colombia in 2018. The line-up is Camilo Ernesto Reina García (vocals), Juan Carlos Carvajal Palmar and Edinson Zapata Ocampo (guitars), Lucas Camilo Barragán Pérez (bass) and Jean "Jeanhates" Baez Ortiz (drums). Its eight tracks build on groove and death metal and take in world-music elements and rap, with lyrics drawn from literature and philosophy. Diego Rodríguez mixed the record at Redspot Studio in Chía, Colombia, and Zack Ohren mastered it at Castle Ultimate Productions; the sleeve art direction and design are by Jaime Torres of Presente Studio, Bogotá. Lyric videos for "Blink" (April 2024) and "Pandemic" (July 2024) preceded the band's own release of the album on 7 September 2024. Wormholedeath announced the signing in May 2025 and issued the album on 20 June 2025. The Japanese edition is a direct import with Japanese packaging, released by Wormholedeath Japan on 28 August 2026 as BITX-1478, carrying the same eight tracks as the international release.
