Coure Roent is the first full-length album by Braindrag, a four-piece from Barcelona started in 2013 by the guitarist Enric GS and hardened on the city's stages at Razzmatazz and Rock Sound. After the EPs One and Soñar, the arrival of the singer Mireia Pérez changed the band sharply, and the 2019 EP Atreverme was their existing songs rebuilt around her voice. The pandemic stopped them for a time; they recorded this album between June and December 2023 and released "Salta", "Try Not To Fall" and "Rhapsody" ahead of it. The music is alternative metal with progressive turns in it, and some of the words are in Catalan — seven tracks, about 42 minutes. Wormholedeath put it out digitally on 12 July 2024, and it reached Japan on 30 September 2024 as a direct import with Japanese packaging, BITX-1332.
