Slippery When Wet, the third Bon Jovi album and the one Japan released under the title Wild In The Streets, returns here in a deluxe edition built for Japan alone. Universal Music issued it on 21 May 2025 as UICY-80585, part of the series marking the band's fortieth anniversary; it takes the American deluxe edition of the year before and adds bonus material found only here. Disc one runs to seventeen tracks: the ten-song album, then "Borderline", "Edge Of A Broken Heart" and "Out Of Bounds", a 1986 demo and the Thank You Goodnight mix of "Livin' On A Prayer", an acoustic "Wanted Dead Or Alive" and the extended Obie O'Brien mix of "Raise Your Hands". Disc two gathers eleven live recordings — Cincinnati Gardens, Cobo Arena in Detroit and Nassau Coliseum in 1987, and Milton Keynes National Bowl, the Tampa Sundome and Miami Arena in 1993. A limited first pressing on high-fidelity SHM-CD in a 7-inch card sleeve, with a Japanese essay and translated lyrics, photo cards of the album's Japanese single sleeves, and a disc holder scanned from the label of the first of them, "You Give Love A Bad Name".
