Svarte sekunder is the second album by Bolverk, a four-piece melodic extreme metal band from Norway whose name comes from one of Odin's own. Melodic, melancholy lines carry brutal black metal in the manner of Marduk. It was written and recorded alongside their May 2022 debut Uaar, and the two discs together form a single concept across both. The title is Norwegian for the devil's moment. Nine tracks, the last two of them bonus tracks that the international edition also carries. WormHoleDeath Japan released the Japanese-packaged import on 29 December 2023 as BITX-1289, after the original of 26 May. About fifty-eight minutes.
