Resurrection is the third Black & Damned album, produced by former Primal Fear guitarist Stefan Leibing. Guitarist and bassist Michael Vetter and singer Roland "Bobs" Seidel started the German band during the pandemic lockdowns, signed almost immediately to ROAR, the Reigning Phoenix Music imprint, and released Heavenly Creatures in 2021 and Servants of the Devil in 2023. Ten tracks of unadorned German heavy metal, heavy and dark with occasional brightness let in, played by Seidel, Vetter, guitarist Aki Reissmann, bassist Pappe Lee and drummer Axel Winkler. Ward Records issued the Japanese CD (GQCS-91581) on 14 March 2025 with translated lyrics and a commentary booklet. Five songs have official videos.
