Working Man is the last album by Bernie Marsden, the guitarist who died in August 2023. He had played with Cozy Powell, Jon Lord and Ian Paice before founding Whitesnake alongside David Coverdale, and "Here I Go Again", which went on to be a worldwide hit, is his blues foundation showing through undisguised. After leaving that band he kept making records — the Moody Marsden Band with Micky Moody, the Snakes, and a long run of his own. This is a double set: twelve original songs plus a ten-track bonus disc that includes re-recordings from the Whitesnake years, taped in June 2023. "Here I Go Again" is remade in an arrangement as plain as the 1987 version was grand. Two further songs are added for Japan. Ward Records issued it on 2 February 2024. Twenty-four tracks, about an hour and forty-one minutes.
