The Shit ov God is the thirteenth Behemoth album, out worldwide on Nuclear Blast and in Japan on Victor Entertainment (VICP-65633) on the same day, 9 May 2025. Anti-Christian defiance has been the Polish band's subject since they formed in the early 1990s, and Victor point out that the emblem on the sleeve inverts the Christogram "IHS" with a cross added to it. Jens Bogren, a producer with a long list of modern metal records behind him, handled production. The Japanese CD carries a Japanese essay and translated lyrics, and adds two live bonus tracks found nowhere else, bringing it to ten. Four songs have official music videos: the title track, "The Shadow Elite", "Lvciferaeon" and "Sowing Salt".
