Steelbound

Battle Beast's Steelbound came out through Nuclear Blast on 17 October 2025 as the Finnish band's seventh studio album, with Ward Records releasing the Japanese edition simultaneously (GQCS-91684), complete with a Japanese booklet and translated lyrics: ten songs in about 37 minutes. Keyboard player Janne Björkroth produced it, Nuclear Blast says, and the singles' credits add that he mixed at JKB Studios while Mika Jussila mastered at Finnvox Studios. Janne composed the title track and "Twilight Cabaret", which he describes as metal with Latin influences, and bassist Eero Sipilä traces "Last Goodbye" to weeks he spent in a hospital in 2020, where he met an older woman who had been fighting cancer on and off since 1985. Noora Louhimo sings, with Joona Björkroth and Juuso Soinio on guitars and Pyry Vikki on drums. Nuclear Blast Records has posted music videos for "Last Goodbye" and "Steelbound", both directed by Patric Ullaeus, "Here We Are", "Angel Of Midnight", "Twilight Cabaret" and "Watch The Sky Fall", plus a "Riders Of The Storm" video shot at the band's 2025 summer festivals.
