Satanic Inversion Of.... is the debut album by Avmakt, a Norwegian black metal band that is a duo: Kristian Valbo and Christoffer Bråthen, both known for their work in Aura Noir, Obliteration and Condor. They formed in 2020, and the one demo they released found enough of an underground following to catch the attention of Fenriz of Darkthrone and of Peaceville Records, who put them on the label's black metal compilation Dark Side of the Sacred Star at the end of 2022. The album is primitive by design, built on cold, repeating riffs that recall early Darkthrone and early Bathory. Peaceville released it on 30 August 2024; it reached Japan on 2 November as an import prepared for Japanese distribution, CDVILEF1065J. Six tracks, with Poison Reveal issued ahead of the album as official audio.
