Quad Brutal is the fourth album by Austrian Death Machine, the band Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying set up to work out his devotion to the films of Arnold Schwarzenegger as parody and as tribute at once. Total Brutal came in 2008, the double Double Brutal the year after, Triple Brutal in 2014, and this arrives about a decade later with Lambesis again handling the whole of it himself. The melodic, technical stamp of his other band is intact, and what it carries is metalcore that is aggressive and emotional in the same breath. The technical guitarist Angel Vivaldi guests, and Dany Lambesis, his wife, sings on it as well as supplying the artwork. Marquee Inc. issued the Japanese edition on 21 February 2024. Ten tracks, about thirty-four minutes.
