Everflow Part 1: Frames of Humanity is the first album in twenty-three years by Athena XIX, the Italian progressive power metal band formed as Athena in 1991, sung by Fabio Lione of Rhapsody of Fire and Labyrinth. Lione sang with them from the start but left after a demo in 1993; the band made their album debut with Inside, the Moon in 1995 and brought him back for A New Religion? in 1998, a record still regarded as one of the finest in Italian power metal. He left again, Twilight of Days followed in 2001, and the band split in 2002. They returned in 2019, took the name Athena XIX and made this concept album with Lione back in front — thrash, power and progressive metal with an electronic edge to it, and Roy Khan, formerly of Kamelot, guesting on I Wish. Ward Records issued the Japanese edition, GQCS-91526, on 25 October 2024, ahead of the international release by Reigning Phoenix Music on 6 December. Thirteen tracks.
