Through Storms Ahead is the eighth album by the American metalcore band As I Lay Dying and their first studio record in five years. Founder members Tim Lambesis and Phil Sgrosso made it with the players whose arrival was announced in 2022: bassist Ryan Neff of Miss May I, known in Japan for his work in Babymetal's Kami Band, and former Unearth members Ken Susi and Nick Pierce. The aggression the band is known for is intact, with Neff's clean vocals and the weight the Unearth pair bring layered over it. Napalm Records released it on 15 November 2024; Marquee Avalon issued the Japanese edition on 20 November as MICP-11900. Eleven tracks, with official videos for Burden, We Are The Dead and The Cave We Fear To Enter.
