Armagelion

Ward Records brings ARMAGELION to Japan on CD on 30 October 2026 as GQCS-91797, and diskunion bills the record as a Japan-first debut. The band comes from Dallas, Texas, and its name is also the stage name of the singer who fronts it, a science-fiction character the whole act is built around; alongside him are Johann Strode and Deÿvid Sinister on guitars, Eddie Slaughter on bass and Logan Storm on drums. The signing announcement Astral Haven Records put out on 14 May 2026 splits the two guitar parts, lead to Strode and rhythm to Sinister, where the Japanese label copy simply lists both men as guitarists; the label's roster page carries the band. Everything before this album was self-released. "Welcome to the Show" went up on the band's Bandcamp page in December 2021 and "Lie to Me" in March 2022, and Apple Music lists six further singles between June 2023 and November 2025, beginning with "Playin' with Fire" and "Sweet Pain" and closing with "Take Me to the Top". In the middle of that run, on 2 February 2024, came a five-track EP under the same title on the band's own ARMAGELION Records imprint; Metal Temple reviewed it on 1 May 2024, gave it eight out of ten and heard eighties hard and glam metal behind the science-fiction staging. The album itself runs to ten tracks and, by Apple Music's own listing, around forty minutes, opening on "Welcome to the Show" and ending on "Sweet Pain".
