One and Only is the twentieth album by the Canadian heavy metal band Anvil, and their first in two years. They debuted with Hard 'n' Heavy in 1981; the two that followed, Metal on Metal (1982) and Forged in Fire (1983), are remembered as speed metal classics from before thrash existed. In August 1984 they played Super Rock '84 in Japan alongside Whitesnake, MSG and Bon Jovi, and in 2009 the documentary Anvil! The Story of Anvil found an audience well outside metal and brought them a second wave of attention. This record keeps to what they have always done, from hard, groove-driven songs to the fast numbers that earned them the speed metal tag. It appeared internationally on 28 June 2024; Ward Records issued the Japanese edition on 15 November as GQCS-91530. Twelve tracks, with an official music video for Feed Your Fantasy.
