Napalm Records released Alter Bridge's self-titled eighth album on 9 January 2026, the same day as Marquee's Japanese CD (MICP-11997). Marquee's notes credit the band's 2004 debut, One Day Remains, with 750,000 US sales and say that 2019's Walk the Sky reached No. 1 on a US Billboard chart and 2022's Pawns & Kings made the UK Top 20. The group was put together in 2004, the year Creed disbanded, when Creed's Brian Marshall, Mark Tremonti and Scott Phillips brought in singer Myles Kennedy, who has also worked in Slash's solo project. Official videos for "Silent Divide" and "Playing Aces" were directed by J.T. Ibanez, and "Scales Are Falling" followed on 7 January, two days before release.
