The Revenge of Alice Cooper brings the early-1970s Alice Cooper band back together half a century on. earMUSIC and Ward Records released it on the same day, 25 July 2025; the Japanese edition is GQCS-91630, with a booklet, translated lyrics and the two bonus tracks that in Europe come only with the box set, "Return of the Spiders 2025" and "Titanic Overunderture". Playing on it are Alice Cooper, Michael Bruce on guitar, Dennis Dunaway on bass and Neal Smith on drums, together with recordings left behind by Glen Buxton, who died in 1997, and Bob Ezrin produced. The label says Robby Krieger of the Doors plays on the first single, "Black Mamba"; that "Wild Ones" took the 1953 film The Wild One as its starting point; that "What Happened to You" is built on Buxton's own guitar takes; and that "See You on the Other Side" was written for him.
