Abyss is the fourth album by Ad Infinitum, the Switzerland-based symphonic metal band led by singer Melissa Bonny. Formed in 2018, they debuted with Chapter I: Monarchy in 2020 and closed a trilogy with Chapter II: Legacy (2022) and Chapter III: Downfall (2023); this record steps outside that numbering. It turns on Bonny's voice, which moves between clean melody and growls, and sets catchy writing beside more progressive passages. The band toured Japan with Kamelot in November 2023. Napalm Records released the album internationally on 11 October 2024, two days after Marquee Inc. had issued the Japanese edition, MICP-11917, on 9 October. Ten tracks, with official videos for My Halo, Follow Me Down, Outer Space and others.
