Sanatorium is the debut full-length by 4BanneD, a four-piece death-thrash band formed in Brazil in 2015 whose sound welds death metal to thrash out of what they took from Sepultura, Testament, Vader, Entombed and Carcass. The lyrics are all in English and deal with the darker side of Brazilian society. Rafael Augusto Lopes, formerly the guitarist in Torture Squad and the producer of the Crypta album, produced it at Casanegra Studio in Sao Paulo, and Andre Zaza Hernandes, the guitarist who has played with Angra and Andre Matos, guests on it. The album appeared internationally on 8 March 2024; WormHoleDeath Japan issued the Japanese edition on 29 November as BITX-1342, a direct import with Japanese packaging. Ten tracks, with lyric videos for War Blood Death and Night of Sacrifice.
