Europe Add A Fourth Japan Date After Tokyo Sells Out — SGC Hall Ariake, January 17

On September 28 the promoter Udo Artists and the press reported an extra date on Europe's Japan tour. The "THE FINAL COUNTDOWN 40TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR" had been announced as three shows in January 2027 — Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka — but the opening night at NHK Hall on January 13 sold out on the day it went on sale. A fourth show has now been added at SGC Hall Ariake on Sunday, January 17, and presale for it opens at noon on September 29 for Udo Premium Members, S seats first come first served.

The added show: SGC Hall Ariake, January 17, doors 17:00

The added show is on Sunday, January 17, 2027 at SGC Hall Ariake in Tokyo. The official show page gives doors at 17:00 and a 18:00 start — an hour earlier than the three dates announced before it, which all start at 19:00. Tickets are 16,000 yen for S seats and 15,000 yen for A seats, tax included, the same prices as the rest of the tour.

The Udo Premium Members presale, S seats on a first-come basis, opens at noon on September 29. The show page lists the general sale as running from 10:00 on October 17 until 18:00 on the day of the show itself.

Four dates in all

With the new date the tour runs to four shows. Wednesday, January 13 at NHK Hall in Tokyo, doors 18:00 and start 19:00, sold out. Thursday, January 14 at Okaya Koki Nagoya Civic Hall, doors 18:30 and start 19:00. Friday, January 15 at Grand Cube Osaka, doors 18:00 and start 19:00. And Sunday, January 17 at SGC Hall Ariake, doors 17:00 and start 18:00.

Tickets are 16,000 yen for S seats and 15,000 yen for A seats, tax included, at every date. General sale for the first three opened at 10:00 on September 12.

Forty years after The Final Countdown — and a new album three days ago

The Final Countdown, the album the tour is named for, came out on May 26, 1986, which puts its fortieth year in 2026.

Three days before this announcement, on September 25, 2026, the band released Come This Madness — the newest Europe record on this site, counting back to the 1983 debut Europe. The band arrives in Japan for the anniversary tour with a new album already out.
