ブラジルのパワー・メタル・バンド、HIBRIAが起死回生を期して放つニュー・アルバム。国内盤はマーキー・アヴァロンより2026年8月5日発売（品番MICP-12020）。新加入のヴォーカリスト、アンジェロがワイルドでパワフルな歌声でバンドに新風を吹き込み、切れ味鋭いギター・リフとうねるベースが生む彼らならではの音像はそのまま受け継がれている。オープナー「Undying」は「与えられた時間の長さではなく、それをいかに情熱的に使い切るか」を歌った曲で、そのMVが公開中。組曲構成のタイトル曲「On the Shortness of Life」（I. Adiaphora／II. Prohairesis／III. Apatheia／IV. Ataraxia／V. Eudaimonia）にはストア哲学の概念が並び、アルバムの主題を締めくくる。国内盤にはボーナス・トラックとして「Steel Lord On Wheels（ライヴ・セッション）」を追加収録。2026年4月にはWacken Open Air主催の初開催イベント"Full Metal Japan"への出演も決まっている。

A new album from Brazilian power metal band Hibria, aimed squarely at a second revival. The Japanese edition comes from Marquee Avalon on 5 August 2026, catalogue number MICP-12020. New singer Angelo brings a wild, powerful voice that blows fresh air through the band, while the sharp guitar riffing and rolling bass that define their sound carry over intact. The opener "Undying" — its video already out — is about how passionately you spend the time you are given rather than how long that time runs. The title track is built as a suite (I. Adiaphora, II. Prohairesis, III. Apatheia, IV. Ataraxia, V. Eudaimonia), lining up Stoic concepts to close the album's argument. The Japanese edition adds "Steel Lord On Wheels (Live Session)" as a bonus track. The band are also booked for the first edition of Full Metal Japan, the Wacken Open Air event held in April 2026.
